Located 25 minutes north of Noosa, Habitat Noosa Everglades Ecocamp is Queensland’s most exciting eco-tourism product. Our bistro and brewery 'CootharaBAR' serves a menu showcasing fresh local ingredients and a range of inhouse prepared goods. These are all matched with our unique craft beers. Catering to locals and tourists as well as daily Everglade tours, school camps and corporate groups, the role is diverse, and every day holds a new challenge.

This is a full time position including some night and weekend work. The bistro will be serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week and breakfast only on weekends and school holidays. Our new GelatoBAR, serving locally made Gelato is open weekends and school holidays as well.

Position Description:

Day to day running of the Bistro and GelatoBar outlet including staff monitoring and training
Rostering and liaising with the Chefs and Bar Manager to provide a consistent and enjoyable guest experience
Controlling bookings and also organisation of group events including precise and timely correspondence with potential function enquiries will also be a responsibility of the successful candidate
Working within a multi faceted operation will  require someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to put company policies and procedures in place


Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
At least 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
Must have car and licence
Excellent communication and written skills
Ability to work within a team environment
Ability to apply and enforce company procedure
Excellent Food and Beverage knowledge
Ability to deal with staff and disputes
Brilliant customer service skills
Confident speaking to groups
Enjoy working with all demographics including school groups
